HP Mini 210-1010NR 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - 4.25 Hours of Battery Life

#1: HP Mini 210-1010NR 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - 4.25 Hours of Battery Life Reviews!

Update, after a couple of days exercising the Broadcom adapter, seems to be normal now. But the touchpad still needs to be broken in, hopefully. For some reason, 98GB of the 160GB HD came unallocated, so had to manually partition it myself. So if you check your HD on 'My Computer' and see only 59GB, like I did, don't have a heart attack.

If surfing the Web at hotspots is your primary use, then you'll need to buy a wifi adapter or card, cause the Broadcom is useless even under the AP. It will sense the network, but no or poor signal. Only will access the Web when used with a D-link adapter. You might also need to spend some time adjusting the touchpad, because mine had a mind of its own until I went thru the Device Manager..Mouse..Options and changed the many settings. Screen size (can't understand those that are complaining about the screen size!! hardly have to use the left/right keys for PDF files)and quality are pretty good, and the battery seems to be holding up. No heating issues. Keyboard size and feel are alright. Fast startup and shutdown so far...
