I bought this laptop in Aug2007 and it was truly a great buy....never really had any probs with the one I got except that it gets a bit hot but i dealt with that using a chill pad. One thing to note after a yr and a half the speakers burst but HP gladly took it back and replaced it with no problems whatsoever....they were really helpful and within 2 days my laptop was back on its way to me. Speed is good, RAM is adequate enough so cant say i had anything bad to say about the laptop...great buy!!!!!

It was broken since day one and HP never made the warranty valid. They were just wasting my time with emails with thourbleshooting steps but no solution at the end. Don't buy HP.
